The Stanford Prison Experiment

A famous study done in the 70′s in which average male volunteers were placed in a prison setting, half being designated as guards and half as prisoners. What happened during the next 6 days (it was supposed to be 14 but was cut short due to ethical concerns) shocked the scientist monitoring the study. Conclusion: The roles and situations people are placed in have a dramatic effect on how they act. The experiment was recorded.
